Jazzy tunes, aquarium of fishes, and calm subtle lighting; these are just some of the soothing sights and sounds experienced at Fusion Sushi, Phnom Penh’s most vibrant Japanese and Korean fine diner.

Fusion Sushi’s 250-squared meter restaurant tucked inside Hotel Cara is fit to accommodate all.  Inside the contemporary designed space are private VIP rooms perfect for large groups, standard rooms suitable for party of four, and a public dining area that overlooks the high stool sushi bar.

With highly specialized and trained chefs, the food selection surmount over thirty dishes and beverages—ranging from flounder sashimi to grilled sanma. “I was first taught how to cook Japanese food from my uncle at age 20, who was head chef at the Samsung Hotel,” explains Wong Gyun, 32, a Seoul-born sashimi specialist.  For Kim Jong Ja, her thirty years of experience reached its apex after the culmination of learning through her husband chef and completing four years of intensive culinary school.  “I believe you can taste the difference in my dishes,” smiles the confident Kim.

Fusion Sushi opens for lunch starting at 11 AM to 2 PM and dinner from 5PM to closing.  Happy hour half off selected spirits is from 5 PM to 7 PM.  Fusion Sushi is a WiFi friendly restaurant.
